Welcome to Saltdean Bowling Club
You'll find us in Saltdean Oval Park, just north of the Lido. Our green is open from April to September and we offer a warm welcome to new members whatever your ability.
Come to our Open Day (from 10am to 3pm on the 26th April 2025) or just turn up at the Club, after the Open Day, on any Tuesday or Saturday at 10.00am. ​There are bowls that you can use, and you'll need to wear flat shoes, (with smooth soles) on the green.

Dates for Members' Diaries 2025
18th April 2pm - Opening of the Green by our Captain, Val Barton
A special occasion, celebrating the first year of SBC's responsibility for the management of the green.
Dress Code - Greys and club shirt, please.
After the opening the green will be open to play (subject to weather) and there will be refreshments in the clubhouse - yes, the bar will be open.
23rd April 2pm - First Club Drive - Dress Code Whites
26th April from 10am to 3pm - OPEN DAY
3rd May 2pm - President's Day - Dress Code Whites
16th May 6.30pm - Competitions Draw Evening
New This Year
Bowls Club Night - Starts May 1st then every Thursday
Play bowls, stay on for a drink and a chat
Arrive at 5.15 for a match, or come later for a roll-up.
